Art, as part of my inner universe, was a late discovery. I reached her on winding paths. I think that first of all it was the need to escape from the narrow sphere of a technical profession and at the same time the desire to isolate myself from a society with which I feel that I do not always resonate.

The admiration for a wall with dozens of Orthodox icons was, I think, the starting point, the experience that triggered my adventure in the art world. Painting was the gateway, I later explored drawing and finally discovered printing, which I think is the artistic form in which I can express myself the easiest. I appreciate the delicacy of prints and their small size, being in my opinion, ideal for capturing an idea, a concept, an image that spontaneously appears in your mind.

My works are diverse and I cannot say that I have a predilection for a certain subject or a certain style. The sources of inspiration are varied: images that appear dazzling in my mind, shapes and faces that I make out either in the cracks of a wall, or on the surface of a ceramic tile, or on the bark of a tree.

I love light and color, sky and sea, movement and stillness. I would like to be able to awaken feelings of peace and beauty in the viewer's soul through my works.
